It all starts with Jyoti
Jyoti (pronounce: Djo-tea) was born and raised in the Indian holy city of Varanasi, and has been living in the Dutch town of Waalre with her husband Rajeev and children Soniya and Ashwin for several years now.
After meeting Rajeev and moving to the Netherlands she found out there was no place to buy food that captured the real taste of India. An idea was born, and she started producing her own truly Indian food products herself. Now, Jyoti is ready to bring her culinary taste to your dinner table!
Jyoti's partnership
In early 2024, Jyoti entered into a partnership with good friend Koen, who has 15 years of experience in business process design and a great love for Indian culture and its cuisine. Together they started building Jyoti's Flavours ®.
100% natural
All our products contain only the highest quality ingredients supplied by our local partners. Always close by, 100% fresh.

We do not add unnatural fragrances, colours or flavours to our products, and we try to take allergies into account as much as possible. You can always find on our labels which allergens a product contains.
Focus on sustainability
A strong focus on sustainability is in our DNA. This is reflected in the recyclable packaging materials we use, such as glass jars for our chutneys and paper bags for our fresh packages.
Because we apply the principle 'ordered today, shipped within two working days', we can purchase smartly based on actual orders. This means we don't have to stockpile large amounts of perishable products, and we almost never have to throw anything away.
Food safety first
To ensure that we always send you the best, freshest and safest products, we use the HACCP system to safeguard all our production processes. HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, and this means nothing more or less than that you have identified the risks associated with food production.
If you would like to know more about the way we have organized our processes, you can always contact us. In the unlikely event that something is wrong with a product, you can always return it. See our Return Policy for more information.
